Program Overview
The Curated Internship Program (CIP) provides experience in Clinical Laboratories, Hospitals, and Public Health Organisations to students who are keen to pursue a bachelors program in the following subject specialties
B.Sc. Medical Lab Technology
Bachelors in Hospital Administration
Bachelors in Public Health
The program provides exposure to those interested to pursue potential careers in the above-mentioned subject specialties.

Overall internees can expect a first experience on how the institution or organization functions and what is the role of a Laboratory technologist or Hospital Administrator or Public Health professional. Before arrival for the internship program, the selected internees will receive information related to their specific subject specialty of choice. The goal of the internship and its relationship to another work area will be discussed. Besides the pre-commencement meeting at the campus and an exit meeting at the internee’s working place, the internees will witness how these organizations function on day to day basis and will have a mentor to guide them and also provide necessary inputs from time to time.
This CIP requires a full-time commitment for 6 days and it is not permissible to take academic classes or hold other employment during the internship. Students are required to participate for the full period of the program.
The Complete Application
There are three institutions from Padmashree Group of Institutions facilitating this internship program, each providing a unique experience. Applying is free, there is no cost to the applicant. To apply to the CIP you will need:
- Marks card of 10+2 ( copies)
- Current CV or resume
- Personal statement
- COVID19 Vaccination Certificate
The personal statement should not be more than 800 words. There is no particular prompt for personal statements, but students are encouraged to take the opportunity to tell us more about themselves…. i.e. why they are motivated to pursue their particular career goals, why they want to do CIP, what traits make them a good fit for a potential career in the field of Allied Health Sciences and why they want to have this experience at Padmashree Group of Institutions. Etc.
The CIP admissions committee will inform applicants of the admissions decisions by 20th November 2021 by email.
